About ALLURE.
It began with one candle, on a kitchen stove
Before ALLURE., Melody was a textile engineer. Then came a move to Canada, a six-month-old baby, and a pandemic that slowed everything down. With a few moulds and some wax, she poured her first candle in the kitchen one evening after the baby fell asleep.
“I started making candles simply as a hobby. I wanted to do something creative with my hands and rediscover a piece of myself.”
That hobby is now a studio in Aurora, Ontario, with more than 160 designs. Every piece is still poured by hand, only after you order it, and our candles are carried by museum shops and boutiques in Canada and the United States.
